Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
The Department endeavours to develop leading expertise in Electrical and Electronics Engineering field by making significant contributions to human resource development envisaging dynamic needs of the society and industries for accelerated socio-economical and technological growth. The deparment imparts core and application oriented knowledge of Electrical Engineering in the advanced areas of system studies along with its analysis & design, simulation and fabrication of electrical and electronics equipment, power apparatus, measuring instruments and process control. Our students express their abilities to analyse and investigate the state of operation of electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, energy conversion monitoring and controlling equipment.
The students of Electrical Engineering work on projects focused on latest development in core areas such as electric drives, static controllers, power system operation and control, VAR compensation, optimization technique applied to electrical system ,microprocessor and microcontroller based system, PLC based system and relevant software related fields. We undertake special training programs to keep our students abreast of the latest know how of the technology and also to address the environmental concern and develop awareness of requisite industrial safety norms.

Laboratory Facilities:
Electrical Dept. has 8 well equipped labs, Basic Electrical Lab, Elect. Machine Lab, Control System Lab, Switch Gear protection Lab etc. Where students conduct experiments to understand the actual working of different equipments and Machines to understand the concepts of particular subjects.
