Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
The department of Electronics and Communication (EC) has been one of the key departments of the institute since its inception in 2007. The department offers B.E. course in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.Tech program in Digital Communication. Both the courses are conducted and assessed by the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. The department has excellent faculty members having very good academic qualification and experience. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom and laboratories providing an intimate, interactive and personalized approach to learning.
The Department of Electronics and Communication has adequate facilities consisting of well equipped subjective laboratories, Centralized Internet Center and rich collection of books, journals and magazines. The department has well equipped laboratories in the area of Analog & Digital Circuits, Analog & Digital Communication, Antenna & Microwave Eng, Microprocessor and Microcontroller, VLSI, TV & RADAR Engineering, Project Lab and various software labs.
The scope of electronics and communication engineering is huge because modern technology uses electronics - chips, transistors, fiber optics, etc. and an EC engineer deals with all of these. Scope of EC engineering is vast as it is applied in every field like Bio-Medical, Space Science, Automobiles, Telecommunication, Automation, etc.
The EC graduates are in great demand in various Public Sector Units like Railways, Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Airport Authority of India Limited (AAIL) and Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL). EC graduates are also recruited by private multinational companies like Sony, Philips, Panasonic, Samsung, Nokia, LG, Toshiba, etc.

Department has Eight fully equipped laboratories in which the following labs are conducted : Fundamental of Electronics Engineering Lab, Analog Electronics lab, Software lab, VLSI Lab, Microprocessor Lab, TV& Radar Lab, Microwave lab, Digital Lab, CNTL Lab, Antenna Lab, Optical Fibre Communication Lab, Communication Lab and Project Lab.
